History of Primary EyeCare
Primary EyeCare is a part of Hutchinson Superstores, Inc., which was founded in 1989 by Optometrist Dr. David Parupsky and Optician Steve Malecek, who have since retired from the practice. The first office, Duling Optical of Hutchinson, was opened in May of 1989. 1990 saw the opening of the second office, Duling Optical of Litchfield.
Optometrist Dr. Gary Christianson joined the team as a partner in 1993. In June of 2005, Optometrist Matthew Hoppe joined the practice and became partner in January of 2007.
With a strong desire to select a name that better portrays the products and services provided, the name was changed from Duling Optical to Primary EyeCare in 2008.
