Comprehensive Eye Exams
As with all medicine, early diagnosis and treatment is important. For many serious eye diseases and disorders, there are few if any symptoms. Often by the time any change in vision is noticed, serious damage has already occurred. It is for that reason we recommend an annual eye exam to promote good vision and eye health.
Your comprehensive eye exam will consist of two components. First we conduct a complete vision analysis to check your vision for any change in your prescription and need for new spectacles or contacts. This is followed by a thorough analysis of overall eye health to check for diseases and other problems. You are then provided with professional recommendations for the best preventative and follow-up care. Our goal is to enhance and preserve your vision for years and years to come.

Vision Therapy
Vision Therapy, also known as Visual Training, is a physical or rehabilitative therapy for the brain and eyes. This progressive program will begin with gentle vision exercises that gradually increase in difficulty with each session. This allows for improved flexibility and coordination of the eye muscles. Patients, especially children who undergo Vision Therapy, are able to learn the techniques necessary to control their eye muscles, allowing them to overcome many kinds of vision impairment. This type of therapy also involves improving other visual skills such as eye teaming, depth perception, eye tracking, and vision-body or eye-hand coordination.
