Eye Care Services
As with all medicine, early diagnosis and treatment is important. For many serious eye diseases and disorders, there are few if any symptoms. Often by the time any change in vision is noticed, serious damage has already occurred. It is for that reason we recommend an annual eye exam to promote good vision and eye health.
Your comprehensive eye exam will consist of two components. First we conduct a complete vision analysis to check your vision for any change in your prescription and need for new spectacles or contacts. This is followed by a thorough analysis of overall eye health to check for diseases and other problems. You are then provided with professional recommendations for the best preventative and follow-up care. Our goal is to enhance and preserve your vision for years and years to come.
Call us today at 320-587-4744 or 320-693-9333 to schedule your comprehensive eye exam. You may also want to print off our downloadable patient history form to complete prior to your visit.

The early diagnosis and treatment of any eye disease is a crucial aspect in the severity and recovery time. As part of your comprehensive eye exam, we routinely screen for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other eye diseases in an effort to catch them at an early stage and slow the rate at which they may spread. Chronic health conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, autoimmune conditions, and others can also have a serious impact on vision and general eye health. As a result, we closely monitor any patients with such a condition and provide them with a specific treatment plan, along with any necessary follow-up care.
With a variety of laser eye surgery options available, a thorough LASIK consultation is a must for anyone considering corrective eye surgery. As with any operative procedure, the key to successful LASIK starts with proper education and screening. A LASIK consultation will take you through a comprehensive evaluation to measure certain key features of the eyes, and assess whether you may be a good candidate. From there, our skilled doctors can provide you with the proper recommendations to achieve the best possible results. If you would like to learn more about laser correction, visit our page on LASIK Vision, or call to schedule a LASIK Consultation with one of our eye care specialists.
Vision Therapy, also known as Visual Training, is a physical or rehabilitative therapy for the brain and eyes. This progressive program will begin with gentle vision exercises that gradually increase in difficulty with each session. This allows for improved flexibility and coordination of the eye muscles. Patients, especially children who undergo Vision Therapy, are able to learn the techniques necessary to control their eye muscles, allowing them to overcome many kinds of vision impairment. This type of therapy also involves improving other visual skills such as eye teaming, depth perception, eye tracking, and vision-body or eye-hand coordination. At Primary EyeCare we offer personalized Vision Therapy based on a patient's distinct needs. Upon an initial evaluation with a patient and/or the parents, we will craft a vision therapy plan that will involve a number of vision exercises.
